Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers We are once again collecting these vouchers for sports equipment for the school . Last year we were able to collect a large amount of sports equipment with them and it would be great to be able to do the same this year. They will be available at Sainsbury’s from Wednesday 15th February so please remember to collect them when you do your shopping and send them into school. Thank you!

Year 6 Trips If your child in Year 6 is not going to Glasbury we have arranged the two alternative trips. We need to know as soon as possible if your child intends to go on these as if we do not get enough children to participate we may have to consider cancelling them. If you have already replied thank you.

Glasbury There is a very strong possibility that Glasbury House Outdoor Education Centre may be lost forever due to cuts in the budget. An e-petition is open at www.save-glasbury.org to persuade Redbridge councillors to find the finance to keep the centre open in order to give it the time needed to become fully self-financing.
Glade pupils in Year 6 use this facility and can vouch for the high quality service and valuable experience provided to pupils in Redbridge. We are asking that you join the petition to help save this service for our pupils.

Good Works Assembly This resumes tomorrow for classes RS, 1J, 2P, 3C, 4L, 5F and 6R at 10am.

Year 1 Valentines Mansions On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week our Year 1 children visited Valentines Mansions in Ilford. They had a wonderful time looking at homes of the past as linked to the work they are doing in class.

Year 3 Trip The children in Year 3 will be visiting EppingForest Conservation Centre on Tuesday of next week. If you have not yet returned the permission slip please do so as soon as possible. Thank you.

Open Evening-tonight from 3.30-8pm. Please check your appointment times or speak to your child’s class teacher if you have not got an appointment to rearrange a slot.
