Children in Need
We have had a great response to the Year 5 and 6 sleepover. Children have now been notified if they have a place and we look forward to an exciting evening. If you have not yet returned your contact slip and money please do so as soon as possible. We will also have a ’Bake and Take’ sale on Thursday 19th November from 3-4.15pm in the school hall and the school council will be organising other events. On Friday 20th November we are having a non-uniform day and asking children to come to school dressed in their pyjamas, donations of £2 please. This year we hope to raise £1000 for this fantastic cause.
Yoga
We would like to offer parents the chance to join in with the staff yoga on Mondays at 4pm. If you are interested please come in to the school office and let us know. Children are not able to come along.
Coats/ Hats and Scarves
Despite my note in last weeks letter I have noticed that some children are still coming to school without coats and even sweatshirts. The weather is becoming increasingly colder and the children do need a coat, hat or scarf for wear during outdoor playtimes.
Anti-Bullying Week
As previously, we will be joining many schools across the country in the national campaign against bullying. This will relate to our on going work with the children through assemblies, discussions and class activities.
Reminder to Year 1
Please ensure that Year 1 children line up in front of the TV screen in the mornings before school as their lines sometimes get messy and end up mixing in with Year 2. Thank you.

Late Collection of Children
Once again we are getting an increasing number of children who are picked up late at the end of the school day. School finishes promptly at 3.30pm and the office staff go home at 3.45pm. Any child left after this time will be put into the after school club and parents will incur the relevant charges. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
