No Good Works Assembly There will be no good works assembly tomorrow due to end of term activities. Hire of School Hall The school hall is available for hire for functions. Details of cost, etc can be obtained from the school office. Redbridge Mini Games Kit Please return any mini games kits from last Wednesday as soon as possible. It is great for us to be in Glade kit when we attend sporting events but this is not possible if the kits are not returned. Thank you. Bike to School Week W/B 16th May. During this week children are encouraged to bring their bike to school on their specified day below to take part in some fun bike related activities. Please ensure that they bring a helmet with them. Year 1—Monday 16th May Year 2—Monday 16th May Year 3—Tuesday 17th May Year 4—Wednesday 18th May Year 5—Thursday 19th May Year 6—Friday 20th May Haven Fun Fitness Scheme Thank you for all your support with the scheme. I am pleased to announce that we have reached our 100% target and our sports equipment is on its way to us! Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers Please continue to collect these for us when you do your shopping. Thank you. New School Uniform We have the new PE kits available for sale at £9.25 for top, shorts and bag. Yellow/green summer dresses for Reception/Year 1, priced at £7.50, up to aged 7 years. 8 years and above £8.50 and green cardigans £9 with the new school logo. Older children can still wear the old uniform and we will phase the new styles in over the next few terms. Easter Fair Thank you to everyone who supported this event. There was a lovely atmosphere and we raised a whopping £801, which we will use to pay for the Year 6 leavers party, dictionary and parents event. Non-uniform day raised £325– which will be used to fund the Summer fair. Weather Precautions As we are moving into the warmer weather, can you make sure that your child is protected with a school sun hat/cap, and that sun cream is applied to exposed skin before school.
