Wellies If you have any spare wellies that you would be willing to donate to the school we would be very grateful. Reception and Year 1 are visiting the woods this term as part of their topic and other year groups are also making greater use of the local environment, and we don’t want weather conditions to hold us back.

Vacancy—Cleaner We have a vacancy for a cleaner at Glade, 10 hours per week—2 hours daily. If you are interested please contact the school office for more information.

If you have any problems with the website please let me know. Thank you for your support. Mr. Merchant.

Year 6 Trips (Not Glasebury) A letter went home to all the children in Year 6 who are not going on the residential trip to Glasebury. We have had hardly any response to these two trips which were for Aquasplash and Lambourne End. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will or will not be attending as we may have to cancel the trips that have been booked. If your child decides not to go we will expect them in school on these days as usual.

Year 4 Drumming We were treated today by a wonderful performance from our children in Year 4. Well done!

Year 6 Gurdwara Visit The children in Year 6 had a lovely time when they visited the Gurdwara Temple on Tuesday of this week. The trip was very interesting for them all.

Collection from School Once again, a reminder that school ends at 3.30pm. Please ensure that you collect your child promptly at 3.30pm each day.

Parent Governor We will have a vacancy for a parent governor from February 2011. Anyone interested please enquire at the school office for more information.

Inconsiderate Parking We have had yet another complaint this morning from a local resident whose drive was blocked by a parents car. This is unacceptable and as mentioned last week we have asked the local police/wardens to come down to school to start issuing tickets and fines.
