School Picnic—15th July As the deadline has now gone for those children wishing to book a packed lunch on 15th July please ensure that your child brings in their own packed lunch on the day as the kitchen will not be providing any hot meals as the intention is for all children to have a packed lunch out on the field together. Thank you.

Key Stage 1 Gymnastics Competition I am in the process of selecting a team for the Key Stage 1 Gymnastics competition which takes place in the Autumn. We entered a team last year and it would be great for us to enter again. The competition is open to children who will be in Years 1 and 2 in September (current Reception and Year 1 children) and takes place at the Redbridge Sports Centre. Children need to learn a routine and present it to the judges. If your child has a particular skill in gymnastics or you think they would be suitable to take part please let me or the office know. Thank you. Mr. Merchant
(If I do not hear from anyone I will ask teachers to select from their classes).

Basic Skills Award
Once again, the school has been successful in gaining the Basic Skills Award. This means that the school has been recognised for good quality provision and teaching in Maths, English and ICT.

Parking PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be more considerate of our neighbours, once again parents are parking over driveways. This is not acceptable!

Attendance As we approach the last two weeks of the Summer term please ensure that your child attends school each day and is on time. Lets make it the best attendance so far!

Year 5 Camp Once again the Year 5 children took part in a fun camping night on our field on Friday—It’s amazing to see mums and dads struggling with pegs and tent poles looking more confused than the children. Fun was had by all!

Cycling Sessions Year 3 and Year 4 children participated in the cycling proficiency sessions today and all had a thoroughly good time.
