Primary School Applications These forms must be completed and submitted to Lynton House by 15th January. Any received after this date will then be considered as a late applicant.

Our New Library The ‘Mathias Room’ is now set up and is being used by all pupils across the school. Classes have been visiting each week and pupils from year2-6 take it in turns to visit during dinner time.
We are now at the next stage of development of this room—visiting the library to loan books.
We have installed a computerised system called ‘Junior Librarian’ to log all our books and resources. This is a quick and efficient system that recognises individual finger prints against pupil names when loaning books from the library. It is our intention to insert pupil finger prints on the system to develop the use of the library. There is no other purpose to take the finger prints.
Should you have any objection to your child’s finger print being used please contact the office by Friday 20th January as we will be implementing the system during the week of 23rd January.

School Uniform We still have a stock of the old style sweatshirts in school, mainly larger sizes. They are being sold off at £5. If you would like to purchase one they can be ordered through the school office.

PAWS AGM The Annual General Meeting of our PAWS association is being held on Friday 20th January at 1.30pm. Alongside this letter there is a form on which you can nominate for the relevant positions that will be available. Please come along to the meeting and make a difference. Children welcome!

School Lunch On Monday 23rd January our school kitchen will be serving up a special menu to celebrate Chinese New Year, the year of the Dragon.
The menu will comprise of sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice or quorn and vegetable stir fry with egg noodles or broccoli salad. Then ginger and carrot cake or pineapple upside down cake served with custard. The price will be the same as usual and there is no need to pre-book, your child can just let their teacher know in the normal way on the day.
Thank you.
