PAWS On line shopping As last year PAWS are promoting the following website for on line shopping www.easyfundraising.org.uk. Please have a look at this site, as if you order any items Glade will receive a donation. Thank you.

Activities Fair This is after school tonight. Please come along to see what local activities are available for your child.

Poppies These are on sale and are being taken around the classes each day. If your child would like to purchase one please send them in with some change. Thank you.

PAWS News A ‘Big’ Thank you for the money raised at our non-uniform day on Friday 21st October, £289 which will be used for new playground equipment.

Forthcoming Events—Bags to School 2nd December and Christmas Disco 9th December. Further details to follow.

Conversation Club This club will be running for anyone who has English as a second language. The club will start on Tuesday 8th November from 2.15-3.15pm. Speak to Mrs Allen for further details.

Maths Challenge Day This is tomorrow (4th November). Maths Challenge Days will now take place termly. Children will be involved in a range of practical number and calculation based activities in classes. Parents are welcome to come along to a special Maths themed Good Works assembly tomorrow at the usual time of 10am for classes IJ,2P,3C,4L,5F,6R Please note that there will be some parental involvement, so get your number heads on ready!

Free Access to online Maths material We have signed up to a free trial of an online maths games website. To access the website please go to http://www.numbergym.co.uk/ and click ’Online Access’ and then ’Free Trial Login’ and enter our username:trial48 and password:angel. The website has a wealth of great activities to develop your child’s learning in maths. If you find the website useful please let me know and we may be able to look into continuing use in the future. Maths Challenge Corner Key Stage 1—Jade bought a toy car. It cost 6p. She paid for it exactly. Which coins did she use? There are 5 different ways to do it. Find as many as you can.

Key Stage 2– Rosie spent £2 on 10p and 20p stamps. She bought three times as many 10p stamps as 20p stamps.
How many of each stamp did she buy?

Sweatshirts/Coats As the weather is changing please ensure that your child comes to school with a coat/sweatshirt. It is not sufficient for them to be outside with just a polo shirt on. Thank you.
