Library Opening We are extremely proud to announce the opening of our new library named the “Mathias Room” in recognition of the work of Paul Mathias, Chair of Governors at Glade. We are very grateful to Paul for all his time, commitment and dedication to the school.
This is a valuable resource for our pupils and we thank everyone who contributed to this great achievement.

Incidents Should you have any concerns about your child or other children please notify the class teacher initially. If this is not appropriate, then report to the school office who will forward the information to be dealt with by:
Miss Porter—Early Years
Mr Merchant—KS1
Miss Hartwell—Years 3 and 4
Miss Willers—Years 5 and 6
Depending on the nature of the information/concern this will be passed on to Mr Miller or Mrs Walsh.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD PARENTS APPROACH OTHER CHILDREN.

Security at Playtimes Please do not talk to your child or other children through the school fence at playtimes. Although we know that this is mostly innocent conversations staff have been asked to be vigilant when on duty and will move children away.

PAWS On line shopping As last year PAWS are promoting the following website for on line shopping www.easyfundraising.org.uk. Please have a look at this site, as if you order any items Glade will receive a donation. Thank you.

Dinner Money As we have a new cash collector for the school dinner money, please ensure your child’s dinner money is in an envelope clearly marked with child’s name and class.

Activities Fair We will be having our annual activities fair on Wednesday 3rd November from 3pm. Please come along to the school hall to find out about various local activities/clubs that you can take your child to.

Teambuilding Year 6 The children in Year 6 had a great afternoon on Monday of this week when they took part in teambuilding games on our school field. They also visited the Gurdwara Temple yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
