Drinking Water As the weather begins to improve and we have hotter days please note that we have facilities in school for fresh drinking water. In each class there is a tap for drinking water. Your child can also bring in a bottle of water which they can keep in the classroom (separate from the packed lunch drink). We also have drinking fountains in the playground and near the field.

Measles, Chicken pox and Shingles Please inform the school office immediately if your child is suffering from any of the above. We have a child in school who is currently receiving treatment for cancer and so it is very important that we know so that we can inform the family straight away as this could affect the treatment. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Non-Uniform Day Thank you to everyone who either sent in donations of money or an Easter Egg last week. We collected £191.34 for non-uniform, the colouring competition made £94.73, so with these two and the Easter Fayre we collected a grand total of £897 which is fantastic. Thank you so much to all the PAWS members for their hard work and commitment.

Morning Club Parents Lately we have noticed that some parents are using the back car park when dropping off their children. Unfortunately, they are parking awkwardly which means that when staff arrive they cannot get into the car park themselves. Please be more considerate.

ISSC Allergy Forms We have recently sent out forms on behalf of our catering company regarding any children with allergies to certain foods, etc. These forms must be back by 19th April at the latest or else we will be unable to provide a lunch to your child and they will have to bring in a packed lunch each day instead. If your child had an allergy but does not have it anymore please inform us of this also so that we can amend our records.

Assemblies Neil Poole led our Easter assembly this morning on the theme of the Easter story and Easter time tradition.
Our Gifted and Talented assembly took place on Wednesday morning. As always we are amazed at the range of talents at Glade and wish to thank Mr. Merchant for all his hard work putting the assembly together.

New Arrangements for Choir From next term, choir will take place on Wed from 12.40-1.15pm. All KS2 children are welcome! (this will be in place of Tues after school).

Class Talks We will be having our regular class talk sessions after Easter where we encourage parents to come along and find out which topics the children will be studying:
Year 6—Wed 21st April Year 5—Fri 23rd April
Year 4— Mon 26th April Year 3– Tues 27th April
Year 2—Wed 28th April Year 1—Fri 30th April
Reception—Tues 4th May. These sessions are held in the classroom at 8.30am.

Finally, may I wish you all a lovely Easter break and see you all back on Monday 19th April at 9am when school re-opens.
